What had been your greatest moment during the hike? Why?

  1. The greatest moment during the hike is when we had to work our way to overcome the first situation, which is the landslide part. We had to go through a difficult and different path away from the usual one.

  2. The greatest moment during the hike is when the 'bomb raids' are coming and we need to chose between detouring (if we do that we still will 'die') and trying to overcome a landslide and we choose overcoming the landslide. I think that we made the right choice as if we detoured we would not make it in time but if we tried overcoming the landslide there is still a chance to live and I personally think that even if it is a slim chance if you never try, you never know. I think that overcoming the landslide is very challenging but it was quite exciting and I really enjoyed it.

  3. The greatest moment during the hike was when there was a 'landslide'. We all were not expecting anything off the normal track so we were very surprised. We had to overcome the activity quickly but we were reacting a bit slowly. Having experience that I realised that we must respond more quickly to sudden situations.

  4. The greatest and also the scariest moment during the Hike was when we had to climb upslope creating our own route. At first in my was full of negative thoughts and disbelief, but as we climbed up one by one, the negative thought died down one by one and and replaced with a great sense of accomplishment. By the time we made it up the slope, I was overwhelmed with accomplishment and i would never forget this greatest moment in the Hike

  5. The Greatest Moment during this hike is when I marked my last step of the whole hike at the entrance of the car park at Venus Drive. At that moment, I felt that I have completed a mission so big, and a sense of achievement that I will never forget. After hiking for 9 hours, I have finally came to an end, and I was satisfied with what I have accomplished that day.

  6. The greatest moment during the hike was when we did the landslide situation and we had to climb upslope to solve the problem. When I found out we really had to climb the slope, I was full of doubt that we could climb through the plants and the slopes. However, when we climbed up, with each step taken, each level was doubt was cleared. When we managed to get back onto the right path, I felt a sense of achievement which made it the greatest moment of the hike

  7. The greatest moment was when there was a situation landslide and we had to go through the terrain. It was fun and scary at the same time.It was because i had never done that in my life before and i was excited. It was scary also by the fact that i had no before hand experience. I was proud of myself as i thought i could never do it and i managed to go through it.

  8. The greatest moment was when we had encountered the landslide. It was scary, thrilling yet enjoyable as it included alot of teamwork and encouragement. We all had different thoughts about penetrating through the terrain but eventually we all managed to carry out the task efficiently.

  9. The greatest moment was when we had to work together during the first situation, which is the 'landslide' because we all learnt more about sportsmanship and we had to climb up a slope which had no path, i think that was the greatest moment of the hike as when i accomplished the first situation, i was very proud of myself, and it would be a memorable day for me.

  10. The greatest moment was we were given a situation where there is a landslide in front of us and we had to choose between doing a detour or a to cut through the thick and thorny, branches and trees. Even though each step taken over the thorny branches was a torture we still made it through and I am proud of it.

  11. The greatest moment is probably where a 'landslide' occurred.Since there is not enough time for a detour,we have to make our way through the thick vegetation like trees, thorny branches and more.It was definitely scary. But I was proud of myself for completing it and reaching our destination.

  12. The greatest moment is when the Mr Lam told us about the landslide situation and the trekking through the greens of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

As I was the first one to climb, even though I did not feel nervous, I felt a sense of danger as the way we were taking was not the normal and natural route but an unknown and risky one.

It was tough to climb up the slope and pushing through all the trees and bushes at the same time and I almost slid and fell down the slope. After some time, the whole team eventually found the correct route after a rough and tough trek up the slope.

I felt a great sense of accomplishment after I trekked through the greens of the reserve as this was the first time I had done this and I felt that I had done it well.

  13. The greatest moment was the landslide as the situation was unique and we force to do something that we never expected to do.

As it was something that i was used to doing it was relatively fun but as there were various problems that came up when we climbed we wasted sometime and has to make various detours and therefore wasted time but at least we got there in then end and we moved on even though we had cuts.
